Helen Shaw

Helen Shaw, 88, of Holton passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born in Blanchester, Ohio on October 10, 1915 the daughter of William and Florence Garner Hudson. She was married to Wallace Shaw on July 8, 1939 and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2002. Mrs. Shaw was a registered nurse and was retired from the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. She was a member of the Holton Christian Church and participated in the Mothers Class. She is survived by two sons, Frank Shaw and his wife Brenda of Columbus and Gary Shaw of Holton; grandchildren Christine Shaffer of Lexington, Kentucky and Tom Shaw of Peoria and great-grandson Robbie Shaffer; two sisters, Mary Harvey of Lake Mills, Wisconsin and June Lynn of Burbank, California; one brother Joe Hudson of Glendale, Kentucky. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Harold and Jerald Hudson. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Holton Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
