Howard McKittrick, 78, of Versailles passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. He was born near Milan on November 26, 1928 the son of James and Helen Parsons McKittrick. He was married to Phyllis Voris on November 25, 1972 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Michael McKittrick of Tobaccoville, North Carolina, and Mark McKittrick of Milan; four daughters, Sharon Huck of Indianapolis, Myrna Dunaway of Greensburg, Brenda Moore of Elrod, and Jeanette Miller of Cold Spring, Kentucky; one step-daughter Renauda Lynn Schmaltz of Osgood; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers James McKittrick of Aurora, John McKittrick and David McKittrick both of Milan, sisters Betty Cook of Texas and Rita Pulley of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert McKittrick. Mr. McKittrick was a self-employed contractor and along with his wife operated the Milan Auction Barn for 12 years. He was a 1947 graduate of Milan High School and a member of the Versailles Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Masonic Lodge in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
