**Irvin L. Orr**, 83, of Napoleon passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Pierce County Nursing Home in Waycross, Georgia. He was born near Delaware on December 28, 1926 the son of Andrew and Minnie Ahrens Orr. He was married to Anna Margaret Knopf on November 1, 1952 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Mark (Wanda) Orr of Letts; two daughters Carol (Jim) Hull of Waycross, Georgia and Diane (Kerry) Jackson of Westchester, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers John Orr of McClelland, Iowa and Gilbert Orr of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Stephen and Daniel, granddaughter Rachel Ann Orr, his brothers Leo, Harvey, Percy, and Manley, and his sisters Rita Bierle, Thelma Thie, and Eileen Woodworth. Mr. Orr was a farmer and had worked for Hoosier Energy and the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12th at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. William Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Indiana Veterans Cemetery at Madison. Visitation will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Parkinson's Research Foundation.
