Jack Lee Mote, 57, of Versailles, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born in Seymour, Indiana on July 28, 1955 the son of Frank Mote and Gertrude Roberts Allee.
Survivors include one daughter Alina (Clint) Sarringhaus of Napoleon, 10 grandchildren; Joseph, Tristen, Grayson, Logan, Kylie, Ayden, Audrey, Elliott, Cy and Camdyn; two brothers Gayle (Mary) Litton of Martinsville and Butch (Lisa) Allee of Versailles; nine sisters Betty (Jerry) Wright of Indianapolis, Pat (Kelly) Clark of Chester, Ohio, Roberta (Virgil) Meeker of North Vernon, Nita (Walt) Hoyt of Columbus, Martha Osborne of Stockdale, Texas, Cindy (Wayne) Vanosdol of Holton, Alice (Danny) Beach of Holton, Bessie Mullins of Bloomington, Sue (Harvey) McDougall of Martinsville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Duard Litton, five sisters; Dorothy Litton, Drucilla Gerries, Ilona Hendricks, Karen Barrett and Ruth Large.
Mr. Mote worked for Grover Miller Construction. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15 at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers officiating. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10am until the time of service. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
