Jackie Lee Kuntz

Jackie Lee Kuntz, 74, of Butlerville passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon. He was born near North Vernon on July 19, 1936 the son of Elmer and Irene Terrill Kuntz. Survivors include his brother James Kuntz of Butlerville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald. Mr. Kuntz was a 1954 graduate of North Vernon High School and was an Army veteran during the Vietnam era. He had worked in construction and was a member of the Christ Baptist Church in North Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 21 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Charlie Bill McKinley officiating. Burial will be in the Brush Creek Cemetery near Butlerville. Visitation will be Sunday from 6pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Brush Creek Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
