Janet M. Bressert

Janet M. Bressert, 67, of Versailles passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Dearborn County Hospital. She was born at Dayton, Ohio on January 23, 1942 the daughter of Earl and Doris Hiler Biddle. She was married to Charles (Chuck) Bressert on September 11, 1964 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Bob (Heather) Bressert of Aurora; two daughters Carla Huff of Osgood and Darla (Jeremy) Lathrem of Deputy; grandsons Curtis Bressert, Tristan Davies, Keith Huff, and Brady Lathrem; granddaughters Morgan Bressert and Autumn Lathrem; one sister Sue (Chuck) Huddleston of Versailles, one brother Joe (Mary) Biddle of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers David and Doug Biddle, and her nephew David Wayne Biddle. Mrs. Bressert was a 1960 graduate of Cross Plains High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cross Plains Church of Christ. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, knitting, crocheting and playing cards. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Tom Fehrman officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden near Madison. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to Rescue 69 or the American Cancer Society.
