Jared Miller

**Jared Miller**, 50, of Holton passed away at 11:48 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born in Batesville on October 19, 1974, the son of James Alan and Ruth Ann Beetz Miller. He was married to Carrie Cregar on September 22, 2001, in Batesville, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Ruth Ann Miller of Batesville; one son Tyler at home; two sisters Rita Miller and Brenda (Toby) Lewis both of Batesville; mother and father in-law Jim and Kathy Cregar of Holton; one brother-in-law Michael (Crystal) Cregar of Batesville; three sisters in-law Jamie (Matt) Merhley of Holton, Stephanie (Brent) Schebler of Batesville, and Kristie Roberts of Oklahoma, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Miller was a 1993 graduate of Batesville High School and a 1998 graduate of Mount St. Joseph University where he earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design. He was a Senior Manager at Vehicle Service Group (Rotary Lift). Jared had a strong passion and love for his family and working on and collecting antique cars and trucks. A celebration of Jared's life will be held on Friday, September 12, at 7 p.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Rob Evans officiating. Visitation will also be on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. Memorials may be given to his son's education fund in care of the funeral home.
