Jean Holman Clemons

Jean Holman Clemons, 75, of Versailles passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Ripley Crossing. She was born at Milan on September 16, 1935 the daughter of Earl and Mary Busching Holman. She was married to Kenneth Clemons on June 21, 1971 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Bob Clemons of Versailles; one daughter Mary Frances (Rob) Creazzo of Fountaintown; also her dog Jake. Mrs. Clemons was a 1954 graduate of Versailles High School and was a member of the Versailles Church of Christ. Jean and her husband delivered the Indianapolis newspapers for several years in the Versailles area. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and following the Chicago Cubs. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3 at 11am at the Versailles Church of Christ with Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 9am until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Church of Christ in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
