Jeanette Dalene Vestal

Jeanette Dalene Vestal, 87, of Greenfield passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. She was born in Rexville on June 29, 1922, the daughter of Verne and Odetta Kirk Sutter. She was married to Floyd Vestal on May 23, 1942 and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2008. Survivors include one daughter Myra (Ron) Wamsley of Greenfield; granddaughter Debbie (Jason) Coombs of Kokomo; 4 great-grandchildren; one brother Bernard Sutter of Franklin; one sister Clarice Mason of Melbourne, Florida. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister Ruth Hey. Mrs. Vestal was proud to be a farmer's wife and she was also a member of the North Madison Christian Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 23 at 10:30am at the Shelby Christian Church with Minister Randy Thieman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services. Memorial contributions may be given to the Shelby Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
