Jeffrey A. Metz

**Jeffrey A. Metz**, 61, of Bennington passed away at 1:30 am, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on November 20, 1959 the son of George Metz and Beverly Notestine. He was married to Pamela Clark on December 31, 2011 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Beverly Shroyer; one daughter Megan Kephart; two sons Jason (Whitney) Metz and Joshua Metz; step-children Kristen (Derek) Koger and Cory Shelton; 5 grandchildren; one brother Daryl, and sisters Melinda and Stephanie. Mr. Metz was retired from Honda Manufacturing where he worked in management, at both the Marysville, Ohio and Greensburg, Indiana plants. Jeff was a member of the Church of God and was a man of deep faith, which helped him cope with his illness. He had a large collection of Case knives and was very proud of his Kubota tractor. He also enjoyed music, everything from hard rock to the old gospel hymns. Jeff's wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
