Jerry Dean Hendrix, 64, of Versailles passed away Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born at Osgood on August 5, 1942 the son of Price J. and Amy Huntington Thomas. He was married to Judy Kelly on December 24, 1997 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Mrs. Amy Thomas of Versailles, one daughter Lisa Adkins of Versailles; step-children Christy Comer and Jeremy Hatfield both of Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Hendrix was a 1960 graduate of Osgood High School and a member of the Osgood United Methodist Church. He was a former warehouse manager for Service Merchandise in Nashville and also chief engineer for Knights Inn of Nashville. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 18 at 6:30pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Garland Rudd officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given to the St. Judes in care of the funeral home.
