**Jo Bishop**, 70, of Osgood passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born at Hot Spot in Breathitt County, Kentucky on January 14, 1945 the daughter of A. W. and Hattie Elam Hamilton. Survivors include two daughters Barbie Schmidt of Versailles, and Kathy Lovins of Greenwood; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother Johnny Hamilton of Holton; one sister Mildred (Harley) Roark of Holton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Donald Hamilton, Sr., and Danny Hamilton, Sr., and her nieces Lisa McConnell and Janet Roark. Ms. Bishop was a 1963 graduate of Milan High School. She had formerly worked as a C N A at the Milan Health Care Center and retired in 2010 after working 15 years as a cook at the Ripley County Jail. Jo enjoyed her grandchildren, doing good cooking, and listening to good music. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Bob McCreary of the Holton Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Otter Creek Cemetery at Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday from 9am until time of services. Memorials may be made to the Ripley County FOP's Shop With a Cop program in care of the funeral home.
