JoAnn Schwanholt, 53, of Versailles passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Cincinnati on November 5, 1956 the daughter of Bill and Norma Hux Frazier. She was married to Darrell Schwanholt on June 2, 1998 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Robert (Amanda) Frazier of Liberty, Kentucky; two daughters Norma George and JoAnna (Gabe) Cruser both of Holton; 9 grandchildren; one brother Jerry Frazier of Jamestown, Kentucky; two sisters Barb Smith of Cincinnati and Diane Golden of Covington, Kentucky; and her father-in-law Mr. Victor Schwanholt of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Schwanholt was an 18 year employee of Ohio Rod in Versailles where she worked as machine tender. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and collecting John Deere memorabilia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dewberry with Pastor Ralph Campen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 10am until time of services Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
