Joseph B. Cook

Joseph B. Cook, 66, of Seymour passed away at 5:40am Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. He was born in Cincinnati on January 13, 1951 the son of Joseph T. and Anna Miller Cook. He is survived by his brother David (Jackie) Cook of Versailles. He was also preceded in death by his sister Joan Cook, his brother Fabian Cook, and his niece Amanda Cook. Joseph was a longtime resident of the Elm Street Group Home in Seymour. He was a former participant in the Special Olympics and his favorite "things" included drinking soda pops, listening to Christmas music, and enjoying all kinds of Christmas trees. Visitation for Joseph will be from 10am to 11am Monday, May 22 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Entombment will follow at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.
