Joshua Del Rogers

Joshua Del Rogers, 26, of Elrod passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his home. He was born at Lawrenceburg on September 24, 1989 the son of John Rogers and Jeanna Calender. Survivors include his mother and step-father Jeanna and Ron Eldridge of Elrod; one brother Joseph (Linzy) Calender of Dillsboro; one sister Rebecca Haase and her companion Stephen Collins of Louisville; two step brothers Harley Eldridge of Sunman and Devin Eldridge of Arkedelphia, Arkansas; maternal grandfather J. B. Calender of Elrod, and one niece Natalie Calender. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Joan Calender. Mr. Rogers was a 2008 graduate of South Ripley High School and was employed with Core Crew at Fairfield, Ohio. Josh attended the Hope Baptist Church at Dillsboro. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 11am at the Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
