Joy Peponis

Joy Peponis, 75, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born in Cincinnati on October 21, 1934 the daughter of Ralph and Beatrice Rice Smith. She was married to John Peponis on November 29, 1952 and he survives. Other survivors include one son John (Wanda) Peponis, Jr. of Cincinnati; two daughters Pamela (Dennis) Teschner and Linda (Greg) Lack both of Cincinnati; one brother Robert Smith and one sister Helen Ryan both of Amelia, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son Steve. Mrs. Peponis was a homemaker. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 9 at 11am at the Cliff Hill Cemetery with Randy Thieman officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
