Joyce M. Boyd Of Milan

Joyce M. Boyd of Milan, 87, died Saturday at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. She was born Monday, January 3, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Ida Breen Miller and was married to James E. Boyd on November 26, 1936 and he survives. She is also survived by her son James E. Boyd III of Indianapolis, Charles "Andy" Boyd of Oxford, Mississippi; one daughter Joyce "Cis" Call of Milan; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker and a member of the Milan United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held Monday, September 8 at 2pm at the Milan United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Estes and Rev Beverly Smith officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Rescue 30. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of arrangements.
