Judy L. Lohrum

Judy L. Lohrum, 73 of Milan passed away at 1:54am Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born on February 3, 1942 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Andrew and Lillian Mason Cooley and was raised by her mother and her step-father Hyle Hutchinson. She was married to Carol "Buz" Lohrum on September 6, 1957 in St. George, Utah and her husband of 58 years survives. Other survivors include three sons Rick, Roger, and Glen (Terri) all of Milan; one daughter Brenda Lohrum of Milan; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; four sisters; Helen Mobrly of Milan, Sandy Groves of Akron, Ohio, Ruth Patstone of Escondido, California and Paula Hutchinson of Livingston, Texas; two brothers; Andrew Cooley and Ralph Cooley both of Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father. Mrs. Lohrum and her husband owned and operated Elrod Supperette and Gas station in Elrod from 1970 to 1986. She also worked H&R Block and the Silver Bell Nursing Home. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Osgood. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November at 10:00am at the Washington Baptist Cemetery with George Sizemore officiating. Memorials may be given to the Children's Hospital in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
