Judy Tyler

Judy Tyler, 64, of Holton passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her home. She was born at Austin on November 3, 1947 the daughter of Allen and Lois Trapp Roth. She was married to Tim Tyler on January 9, 1965 and he survives. Other survivors include two sons Jamie and Jessey Tyler both of Holton; two daughters Regina Ritchie and her companion Paula Watson of Holton and Tiffani (Ken) Campbell of Terre Haute; five grandchildren; two brothers Curtis (Joyce) Roth and Frank (Mary Etta) Roth both of Butlerville; three sisters Betty (Roy) Gunter of New Marion, Shirley Borders of Benham, and Donna (Marvin) Giddings of Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Natalie. Mrs. Tyler was a 1965 graduate of New Marion High School. She had worked in housekeeping and as an attendant at both Muscatatuck and Craigmont State Hospitals. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January at 11am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Ceburn Tyler and Frank Roth officiating. Burial will be in the Holton West Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Margaret Mary Community Hospital or the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
