Kacy Nonaka Indiana Brown

Kacy Nonaka Indiana Brown, 7, and her sister Grace Nana Brown, 6 of Versailles passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 as the result of a car accident near their home at Correct. Kacy was born on September 30, 2003 and Grace was born on December 25, 2004 both in Yokohama, Japan the daughters of Kristopher and Ai Odashima Brown. Survivors besides their parents include paternal grandmother Kathy Brown of Versailles, paternal grandfather Kendall Brown of Tennessee; paternal great-grandparents Omer and Nora Brown Reickers of Brownstown; maternal grandparents Minoru and Mieko Odashima of Yokohama, Japan; Uncles and Aunts Joe and Lindsey Brown and Lisa Hutson all of Versailles and Hitomi Odashima of Yokohama, Japan. Kacy was a first grader and Grace was in Kindergarten both at South Ripley Elementary. The girls attended the Osgood United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3 from 2pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Ginny Hizer of the Osgood United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials may be given to a fund established at United Community Bank to help offset the family's medical expenses. Donations for this may also be made at the funeral home.
