Keith Hunger

**Keith Hunger**, 78, of Versailles passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at his home. He was born near Benham on May 5, 1934 the son of Willard and Roberta Steele Hunger. He was married to Ruth Swingle on May 12, 1956 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Ken Hunger and friend Tim Moore of Columbus, Ohio, and Gary (Annette) Hunger of Greensburg; two daughters Brenda (David) Goerlitz of Jeffersonville and Ellen (Larry) Siebert of Batesville; grandchildren Philip (Erin) Baker of Connersville, Emily (Corey) McDarment of Madison, Madelyn and Clay Hunger, and Clare Siebert; great-grandchildren Payton and Grayden McDarment; three brothers Donald (Polly) Hunger of Versailles, Ernest Lee (Kay) and Larry (Esther) Hunger both of Benham; three sisters Anita Mae (David) Giltner of Middlebury, Karen (Ramon) Sauley of Hanover, and Becky Hunger of Louisville; sister-in-law Eileen (Frank) LaGreca of Dillsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul Hunger. Mr. Hunger was a 1952 graduate of Cross Plains High School and served in the US Army from 1957 to 1959. He was a self-employed truck driver from 1959 until his retirement in June of this year. Keith was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Olean. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 30 at 11am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Olean with Pastor Dennis Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Improvement Fund or the Hospice of Kings Daughters Hospital in care of the funeral home.
