**Kenneth Doan**, 61, of Milan
passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004 at his residence.
He was born near Deleware on June 15, 1942 the son of Edward and Edna Schutte Doan. He was married to Pauline Freytag on September 4, 1965 and she survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Valery Hornberger and her husband Kris, Cheryl Vogelsang and Michael, Jill Meyer and Chad, and Joyce Pindell and Brian all of Milan; ten grandchildren; one brother Eugene Doan of Chandler, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Mr. Doan was employed with McKittrick Contracting in Milan and was retired from Seagrams in Lawrenceburg. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam and a member of the Milan American Legion.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29 at 2pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Jr. Schutte officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Saturday. Burial will be in the Mud Pike Cemetery near Osgood. Military graveside rites will be given by the Milan American Legion.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children Fund.
