Kenneth E. Holman, 86, of Versailles passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 at St. Andrew's Health Campus in Batesville. He was born near Correct on October 9, 1920 the son of Grey and Florence Ross Holman. He was married to Nadah Meadows on February 14, 1942 and she preceded him in death on October 3, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Diane Meisberger and her husband John of New Marion, and Ellen Baugh and her husband Lester of Seymour; one grandson, Jason Meisberger and his wife Becky of Greenwood; three granddaughters, Kara Patrick and Derek of Seymour, Kristen Baugh of Bloomington, and Stacy Holdsworth and Brian of Zionsville; three great-grandchildren. Mr. Holman was a 1939 graduate of Cross Plains High School and a member of the Shelby Christian Church. He was a retired farmer and former employee of Hunter's Hardware in Versailles. Visitation will be Monday, June from 6pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Minister Randy Thieman of the Shelby Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Christian Church or the Shelby Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
