**Kenny Adams**, 66, of Versailles
passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in
Clarksville. He was born near Napoleon on February 7, 1943 the son of Clarence
and Jeanette Farrell Adams. He was married to Dottie Barrett on May 18, 1963 and
she survives. Other survivors include two daughters Angie (Don) Eldridge of
Whitestown and Amy (Barry) Noah of West Lafayette; three grandchildren Cody and
Chase Eldridge and Katie Noah; one brother Don Adams of Milton, Kentucky. He was
preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Ed. Mr. Adams was a 1961
graduate of Versailles High School. He was a 35-year employee of Cummins working
in Columbus and Madison as a machinist and union steward, retiring in 1997. He
was a member of the Versailles Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held
Monday, November 9 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral
Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church
officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden near Madison.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 7pm with Masonic services being conducted
at 7pm. Memorials may be given to the Kentuckiana Medical Center in care of the
funeral home.
