Kenny Franklin

**Kenny Franklin**, 55, of Holton passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Hospice of South Central Indiana at Columbus. He was born near Holton on February 10, 1952 the son of Elmer and Vonda Runyan Franklin. Survivors include one son Tony Franklin and his wife Leeann of Dabney; one daughter Stephanie Boswell and her husband Shane of Butlerville; five grandchildren, Tanner, Trenton, and Lila Franklin and Tyler and Dylan Boswell; one brother Elmer Franklin, Jr. and his wife Kay of Westport; one sister Darlene Cundiff and her husband Terry of North Vernon. Mr. Franklin was a Corporal in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War where he served on Okinawa. He was a member of the Holton Christian Church and was a bricklayer. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16 at 2pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. David Shivers of the Hopewell Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Versailles American Legion. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the donors choice in care of the funeral home.
