Laura M. Kieffer

Laura M. Kieffer, 90, of New Marion passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Waters of Clifty Falls at Madison. She was born at New Marion on September 16, 1915 the daughter of George and Katie Nauert Wagner. Mrs. Kieffer spent her entire life in the New Marion area and was married to Phillip Kieffer. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son William Kieffer, and her brothers Edward, Charles, and Clarence Wagner. Mrs. Kieffer was a 1934 graduate of New Marion High School. She was a member of the St. Magdalene Catholic Church and also a member of the church's Altar Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August at 11am at the St. Magdalene Catholic Church in New Marion with Father Rob Hankee officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Madison. Memorials may be given to the St. Magdalene Altar Society in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home.
