Leona C. Wagner

Leona C. Wagner, 92, of Osgood passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was born near Osgood on August 12, 1917 the daughter of Fred and Bertha Wheeler Lustig. She was married to Arthur Wagner on November 16, 1938 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1999. Survivors include four sons Jim (Nancy) Wagner of Hartsville, Roger (Peggy) Wagner and Gene (Joyce) Wagner both of Osgood, and Joe (Pearl) Wagner of Westport; one daughter Carole (Duane) Franklin of Holton; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Sherry Lewis, and her brothers Lawrence Lustig and Howard Lustig. Mrs. Wagner was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood and a member of the Jolly Circle Home Ec Club. She was also a homemaker and had done furniture upholstering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 15 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood with Father Shaun Whittington officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurice's Cemetery at Napoleon. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rosary services at 7:30pm.
