Leslie Jean Gast, of Elizabethtown, entered her eternal life with her Lord on Friday, October 9th, 2009. She was born the daughter of Charles Hubert and Regina Deloris (Sexton) Gast, on October 27th, 1951 in Maysville, Kentucky. She was baptized in the Lord on June 2nd, 2009. Leslie was a life-long accomplished singer and business manager. Her hobbies included camping, motorcycling, softball, Indian artifact collecting, and traveling. Making people laugh and appreciating life, friends, and family was her purpose in life. Survivors include one brother, Garry Allen Gast and wife, Claire, of Madison; nephew, Charles (Butch) Gast and wife, Cary, of Elizabethtown; and niece, Melissa (Gast) Carf and husband, Kelly, of Dillsboro. Six great-nephews and nieces and one great-great niece also survive. Leslie also leaves behind many loved friends. Preceding her in death were both parents and brother, Larry. Services celebrating Leslie's life will be held at the Stratton - Karsteter Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13th. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. followed by services with Clifton Hartley of Milton Christian Church officiating. Leslie will be laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery, Osgood.
