Lisa L. Mcconnell

Lisa L. McConnell, 43, of Holton passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon. She was born at Batesville on December 21, 1967 the daughter of Harley and Mildred Hamilton Roark. She was married to Tom McConnell on October 11, 1989 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Matthew (Paula) McConnell of Seymour; one daughter Ashley McConnell at home; step-son Thomas J. McConnell of Holton; granddaughters Savanna and Olivia McConnell; her parents Harley and Mildred Roark of Holton; father-in-law Lester McConnell of Holton; mother-in-law Norma Jean McConnell of Napoleon; sisters Glynna (Rick) Halcomb of Linefort, Kentucky and Susie (Todd) Starkey of Milan. She was preceded in death by her sister Janet Roark and her grandparents Lou and Arna Roark and Addie and A. W. Hamilton. Mrs. McConnell had worked in embroidering at the Batesville Casket Company. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be in the Little Memory Cemetery near Sunman. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
