Lois M. Roth, 86, of Butlerville passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 at her home. She was born at Commiskey on April 18, 1924 the daughter of Valentine and Myrtle Donnell Trapp. She was married to Allen Roth on March 13, 1941 and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1994. Survivors include two sons Curtis (Joyce) Roth and Frank (Mary Etta) Roth both of Butlerville; four daughters Betty (Roy) Gunter of New Marion, Shirley Borders of Benham, Judy (Tim) Tyler and Donna Shryer both of Holton; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; one brother Curtis (Sadie) Trapp of Austin. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lena Dunbar and Anna Simmons, and her granddaughter Natalie Tyler. Lois retired from Muscatatuck in 1986 where she worked for 30 years as an attendant. She was a member of the Versailles Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Monday, February at 12pm at the Versailles Church of Christ with Bro. Dale Day officiating. Burial will be in the Otter Creek Cemetery at Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday from 10am until time of services at the church. Memorials may be given to the Versailles Church of Christ in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
