Louis W.B. Sellers

Louis W.B. Sellers, 81, of Olean passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. He was born near Delaware on November 1, 1933 the son of Benjamin Harrison "Harry" and Mabel Cook Sellers. He was married to Ruth Tielking on July 1, 1961 and she survives. Other survivors include two sons Robert (Diane) Sellers of Lexington, and Keith (Lynn) Sellers of Cincinnati; two grandchildren Nicole Sellers and Austin Sellers; one brother Gerald (Norma) Sellers of Hanover. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Doris Sellers. Mr. Sellers was a farmer, a former employee of the Ripley County Highway Department, and retired in 2003 after 18 years with the Halcomb Home Center in Versailles. Louis was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Olean where he served as bell ringer for 31 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 11am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Olean with Pastor Curtis Black officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul Improvement Fund, St. Paul Cemetery, or the Parkinson's Foundation in care of the funeral home.
