Louis N. Wilson

Louis N. Wilson, 73, of Amelia, Ohio passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born in Amelia on November 16, 1946 the son of Avery and Eula Brown Wilson. Survivors include one daughter Kristine (Eddie) Payne of Cleves, Ohio; two sons Jeff (Angie) Wilson of Batavia, Ohio, and Michael (Amy) Wilson of Louisville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters Barbara McGlade of Cincinnati, and Kim (Wayne) Davis of Buford, Ohio. Mr. Wilson was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War serving on the USS Juneau. For service to his country Louis received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. In civilian life Louis worked in maintenance at the University of Cincinnati for many years. His wishes were to be cremated. Contributions in Louis' memory may be made to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
