Mae Miller, 88, of Versailles
passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Kings
Daughters Hospital in Madison. She was born near Holton on February 4, 1918 the
daughter of Carl and Nellie Knapp Rheinfrank. She was married to Oral Miller on
August 6, 1939 and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her step-daughter
Betty Skelton of Versailles; one brother Harold Rheinfrank of Brazil, several
nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death
by her parents, step-sons Charles R. Miller and Jack Miller, her brothers
Alfred, Denver, and Roy Rheinfrank, her sisters Ruth Canada and Mildred Edwards,
and her nephews Alfred Canada and Lee Henderson. Mrs. Miller was a former
employee of the Delaney Wood Heel Factory and the White Pine Restaurant in
Versailles. She was a member of the Versailles American Legion Auxiliary and the
Versailles Church of Christ and had been active for several years at the
Versailles Senior Center. Funeral services will be held
Friday, February 2
at 12pm at
the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Dale Day officiating.
Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be
Friday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the
Versailles Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
