Maralou Reid

Maralou Reid, 80, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg. She was born at Bedford, Indiana on August 9, 1924 the daughter of Marion and Margaret Simeon Shackelford. She was married to Philip Reid and he preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by one son, John Reid of Versailles; one grandson Max Geller and one son-in-law Steven Geller of Indianapolis. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Martha Geller. Mrs. Reid was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14 at 3pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Visitation will be Thursday from 1pm until time of services. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
