Margaret K. Hellmund

**Margaret K. Hellmund**, 99, of Osgood passed away at 4:30pm, Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her home. She was born in Cincinnati on March 2, 1918 the daughter of George and Cora Moore. She was married to Elliott Hellmund on December 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1960. Survivors include one daughter Barbara Horan of Osgood; two sons William (Diana) Hellmund of Cincinnati and John Hellmund and his companion Judy of Topeka, Kansas; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law John Horan, five brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Hellmund's working career was spent as a cook and she had worked at General Electric, the Cincinnati Home for the Blind, and lastly at St. Anne's Rectory in Cincinnati. Margaret was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and her hobbies included reading westerns and doing crossword puzzles. Margaret's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12 at 11am at the Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Choate officiating. Visitation will be from 10am until time of services. A private burial will be held at a later date at the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Osgood. Memorials may be given to the Hopewell Baptist Church in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
