Margaret H. Kelly

Margaret H. Kelly, 70, of Holton passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She was born in Cincinnati on August 4, 1940 the daughter of Ben and Elizabeth Zengerling Wenker. She was married to Dr. Joseph Kelly on June 8, 1968 and he survives. Other survivors include three brothers Don (Susan) Wenker and Paul (Joyce) Wenker both of Cincinnati and Herman (Nancy) Wenker of Holton; two sisters Joan (Al) Heyson of Blue Ash, Ohio and Elizabeth Wenker of Cincinnati. Mrs. Kelly was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood. She received her BS degree from St. Mary's of the Woods in Columbus, Ohio and served as a dietetic intern at St. Louis University. Margaret worked as a registered dietician in St. Louis and Chicago and also managed her husband's medical office. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 27 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church with Father Shaun Whittington officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rosary services at 6:30pm. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
