Margaret R. Palmer

Margaret R. Palmer, 83, of West Harrison passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at her home. She was born near New Marion on December 11, 1925 the daughter of Clarence and Flora Walter Kieffer. She was married to Glen Palmer on October 5, 1943 and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2005. Survivors include two sons Jimmy (Diana) Palmer of West Harrison and Darrel (Susan) Palmer of Harrison, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Lori (Patrick) Trimble of Sunman, Jeni (Jeff) Christofferson of Indianapolis, and Dennis (Sarah) Palmer of Cincinnati; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James and Raymond Kieffer, her sister Elnora Skeen, and her grandson Philip Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15 at 1pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in the Marble Corner Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be Monday from 11am until time of services. Memorials may be made to the Dearborn County Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
