Mark A. Rullman, 56, of Versailles passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009 at his home. He was born at Milan on July 10, 1952 the son of Lloyd and Dana Faye Miller Rullman. He was married to Amy Rodgers on May 17, 2003 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Dana Faye Rullman of Dillsboro; one son Matthew Rullman of Aurora; two daughters; Sara Rullman of Versailles, and Whitney Rodgers of Versailles; two sisters Shauna Hamilton of Moores Hill and Sheila Creek of Dillsboro; and an aunt Dorothy Ann Rullman. He was preceded in death by his father, his son Jeremy, and his brother Edward.
Mr. Rullman was a 1970 graduate of Dillsboro High School and was employed with Baird Auto Transport as a car hauler. He was a member of the Hope Baptist Church at Dillsboro, the Hopewell Masonic Lodge at Dillsboro, and the Milan Sons of the American Legion.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am at the Hope Baptist Church at Dillsboro with Rev. Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be in the Cliff Hill Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm at the church. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
