Marsha Ann Back

**Marsha Ann Back**, 66, of Cross Plains passed away at 6:45pm, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home. She was born in Lawrenceburg on July 15, 1953 the daughter of Clifton and Thelma Knigga Deamron. She was married to Michael Back on June 29, 1973 and he survives. Other survivors include one son Michael J. (Jana) Back of Westport; two daughters Jennifer (Damon) Ralston of Versailles and Jill (Mike) Schwamberger of Greenfield; 7 grandchildren Devin and Dylan Ralston, Kyler and Colten Schwamberger, Kya and Kyson Back, and Paige Grayson; two brothers Terry (Diane) Deamron of Greenwood and Ricky (Sandy) Deamron of Greensburg; one sister Linda (Ronnie) Sniegowski of Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother-in-law Orville and Evalee Back. Mrs. Back was a 1971 graduate of Dillsboro High School. She was a former employee of the Belterra casino and also the Rising Star casino where she worked as a reservation clerk. She also assisted Mike on the farm and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Marsha was a member of the Bear Creek Baptist Church at Friendship. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 10 at 10:30am at the Bear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Sherman Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memorial Garden near Madison. Visitation will be on Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 9:30am until time of services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the Bear Creek Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
