Marvin G. (Butch) Scott

Marvin G. (Butch) Scott, 57, of Rexville passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison. He was born at Milan on June 18, 1953 the son of Robert and Helen Farrell Scott. He was married to Sharon Grenat on July 21, 1977 and she survives. Other survivors include his mother Helen Scott of Rexville; one son Les Scott and his companion Heather Patrick of Holton; one daughter Carry Scott of Holton; grandchildren Benjamin Prather and Jillian Scott; one sister Barbara (Mike) Youngblood of Rexville; three brothers Keith (Joyce) Scott of New Marion, Dennis (Kim) Scott of Benham, and Mike Scott and his companion Lee of Rexville. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Scott was a member of the Shelby Christian Church and was employed with Greensburg Milling as a truck driver. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23 at 10:30am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Minister Randy Thieman officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
