Marvin L. Dilk

Marvin L. Dilk, 74, of Holton passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his home. He was born in North Vernon on September 12, 1945 the son of Nelson and Dorothy Johnson Dilk. Survivors include one son Kevin Dilk of Holton; grandchildren Mark, Tanner, and Lauryn Dilk; one sister Patty Campbell of Pekin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kristin, and his brother Eddie Dilk. Mr. Dilk was a 1964 graduate of Versailles High School. He was a former employee of General Motors in Anderson and had been a truck driver for Beach Lumber at Holton. Marvin's wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 6th at 6pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Carter Corbrey of the First Southern Baptist Church in Versailles officiating. Visitation beginning at 5pm and memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
