Mary Ann Sebree

Mary Ann Sebree, 80, of Rexville passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home. She was born near Lawrenceburg on November 13, 1941, the daughter of Jim and Alma Buchanan Richardson. She was married to Curtis Sebree on April 11, 1959, and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2019. Survivors include one daughter Brenda Hayes of Edmond, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jimmy Richardson. Mrs. Sebree was a former resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and she and Curtis returned to the area upon his retirement. Mary Ann was a homemaker and a member of the Shelby Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Monday, January 24 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Joe Van Wye, minister officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Monday beginning at 2pm. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Cemetery or the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
