Michael E. Dougood

Michael E. Dougood, 56, of Versailles passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born at Hamilton, Ohio on June 9, 1950 the son of Eugene and Thecla Kaufhold Dougood. Survivors include his mother Thecla Walter of St. Leon; daughters Stacey Schwarte and Fawna Dougood both of Versailles; grandchildren Hayley, Hannah, and Nicholas Schwarte; brothers Greg Dougood of Cincinnati and Vince Dougood of Lexington; sister Josette Sanford of Los Angeles. Mr. Dougood was employed with Hil-Rom as a machinist for 36 years. He was a Marine veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Batesville VFW. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14 at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Don Buck officiating. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery at Osgood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
