Michael D. Ensinger

Michael D. Ensinger, 56, of Versailles passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 in Greensburg. He was born at Batesville on June 1, 1957 the son of Robert and Phyllis Gross Ensinger. Survivors include his mother and step-father Phyllis and Jim Utter of Versailles; his companion Donna Lane of Aurora; two daughters Brandy Herbert and her fiancé Bill McRoberts of Versailles and Katrina Ensinger of Versailles; grandchildren Katelyn Farrell, Adriona Herbert, Sophia Lane, and Zoey Ensinger; one sister Diana Foster and her fiancé Tim Lawler of Cincinnati. Mr. Ensinger was a 1975 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School and was employed with Tom Sibbitt Chevrolet in Greensburg as a parts manager. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family and was active in sand drag racing. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 10am at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Don Buck and Rev. Steve Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church in Osgood in care of the funeral home.
