Mitch Eaton

Mitch Eaton, 33, of Napoleon passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at his residence. He was born at Greensburg on June 21, 1972 the son of Gene and Sharon Borders Eaton. Survivors include his parents Gene and Sharon Eaton of Napoleon; one sister Dee Dee Powers and her husband Steve of Napoleon; his companion Brandi Ahrens Eaton of Napoleon; daughters Hannah and Madelyn Eaton of Napoleon and one son Brandon Eaton of Sandusky; paternal grandmother Mrs. Thelma Eaton of Napoleon; brother-in-law Chad Ahrens of Batesville; Uncles Larry Eaton and his wife Judy of Versailles and Rod Eaton and his wife Shirley of Napoleon; Aunts Betty Mace of Montana and Carolyn Wright of Shelbyville; his Godmother and great-aunt Cora Wright of Greensburg. Mr. Eaton was a 1991 graduate of Jac-Cen-Del High School and was employed with Johannigman Excavation. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14 at 10:30am at the St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Fink's Corner near Osgood with Rev. Karyl Leslie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to a fund for Mitch's children in care of the funeral home.
