Neva Wright

**Neva Wright**, 95, of Rexville passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Waters of Clifty Falls at Madison. She was born in the Marble Corner community near Rexville on May 29, 1915 the daughter of Fred and Effie Thomas Flint. She was married to Walter Wright on September 10, 1937 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2010. Survivors include three daughters Phyllis (Earl) May and Brenda (Danny) Myers both of Rexville and Sharon (Forest) Sandefur of Greensburg; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son Wayne. Mrs. Wright was a 1933 graduate of New Marion High School. She was a member of the New Marion Baptist Church and participated in the ABWM. Neva had worked as a cook at the New Marion School for 11 years and was also a homemaker. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15 at 11am at the New Marion Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Carter officiating. Burial will be in the West Fork Cemetery near Rexville. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 10am until time of services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to the New Marion Baptist Church or the West Fork Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
