Norma D. Whitham Krall

**Norma D. Whitham Krall**, 97, of Osgood passed away Thursday, November 25, at the Hickory Creek Health Care Center in Greensburg. She was born on Red Hog Pike, near East Enterprise, in Switzerland County on August 18, 1907. She was the thirteenth child of Benjamin Bruce and Mary Elizabeth Bocock Whitham. She was married to Elmer I. Krall on February 2, 1929, and he preceded her on November 7, 1987. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Norris E. and Joan Krall of Osgood, Grandsons, Kenny, Terry and Mike and Great Grandchildren, Mary Beth, Matthew, Megan, Mitchell, Amanda and Evan Krall, four Step Grandchildren and twelve step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law, Mary Lock Krall, brothers George, Charles, Willard, Clyde, Chauncey, Stanley, Dilver, Clarence and Paul and sisters, Bessie, Hazel and Mildred. She had been employed as a cook at the Jefferson Craig Elementary School and the Dairy Queen in Vevay, Indiana. She retired and moved with her husband to Osgood in 1972. In 1997, she moved to her new home on her son's farm west of Osgood where she lived until 2003 when she fell and broke her leg. When she could no longer be cared for at home she was lovingly cared for at Hickory Creek in Greensburg. Services will be held Sunday, November 28, 2004, at 2:00pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00pm until time of services. Graveside services will be in the Vevay, Indiana Cemetery on Monday, November 29, 2004, at 10:30am.
