**Paul Harlemert**, 88, of Napoleon passed away at 1:40am Friday, May 1, 2015 at his home. He was born near Napoleon on July 19, 1926 the son of Harry and Ella Bultman Harlemert. He was married to LaVonne "Bonnie" Clapp on June 5, 1948 and she survives. Other survivors include one son Ron (Donna) Harlemert of Napoleon; one daughter Julia (Ronald) Quicksall of Greensburg; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one sister Evelyn (Marvin) Hardesty of Osgood. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Floyd Harlemert. Mr. Harlemert was a 1944 graduate of Napoleon High School. He was an Army veteran of WWII and served during the Occupation of Germany. For his service Paul received the Army of Occupation Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. In civilian life he was a farmer and for 38 years he drove a school bus for the Napoleon and Jac-Cen-Del school systems. Paul was a lifetime member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Fink's Corner and was also a member of the Osgood American Legion. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 11am at St. Peter's United Church of Christ with Pastor Sandy Gruell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military graveside rites by the Osgood American Legion. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles and from 10am until time of services Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's United Church of Christ or the church cemetery in care of the funeral home.
