Pauline Sutton Truesdel

**Pauline Sutton Truesdel**, 80, of New Marion passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born at Williamsburg, Kentucky on January 5, 1923, the daughter of Forest and Roxie Lynch Hamblin. She was married to Charles Sutton on February 22, 1941 and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1967. She was married to Delbert Truesdel on December 10, 1973 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1997. Mrs. Truesdel is survived by her mother Mrs. Roxie Hamblin of Corbin, Kentucky; three sons, Charles Sutton and his wife Beverly of Greensburg, Richard Sutton and his wife Joyce, Ronald Sutton and his wife Becky all of Holton; daughter Barbara Heuer and her husband John of Cross Plains; daughter-in-law Donna Sutton of Hanover; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harold Hamblin of Sharonville, Ohio, Ray Thomas of Somerset, Kentucky, and Harold Thomas of Blue Ash, Ohio; three sisters, Virginia Graves of Creve Cove, Illinois, Irene Dart of Deputy, and Jean Kieffer of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her father, son Bruce Sutton, brothers Jim Thomas, Charles Thomas, and William Hamblin, sister Osha Lee Lay, and one great-granddaughter. Mrs. Truesdel was an attendant at the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center for 25 years and was a member of the New Marion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26 at 11am at the New Marion Baptist Church with Rev. James Goble officiating. Burial will be in the New Marion Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25 from 5pm to 8pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the New Marion Cemetery. The Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles is in charge of arrangements.
