**Pauline DeBurger Turner**, 85, of Versailles passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
She was born near Versailles on March 26, 1927 the daughter of Otis and Flora Kuhn DeBurger. She was married to Orlester King and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1968. She was then married to George Turner and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1981. Survivors include three sons Larry (Beverly) King and Danny (Joe) King both of Versailles, and George Turner of Bloomington; two daughters Tara (Ken) Benefiel of Burton, Kansas and Cheri (Rick) Burcham of Newtown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Linda King of Seymour; brother Paul (Sandy) DeBurger of Brownstown. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son Wayne King, her grandson Jeff King, and her sister Bea Littell.
Mrs. Turner was a former employee of the Delaney Wood Heel Factory in Versailles and had also worked as a cashier at the Spencer-Tyson Drug Store in Versailles, retiring in 1990. Pauline was a member of the Shelby Christian Church and the Versailles American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held 10:30am Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Rick Burcham officiating. Burial will be in the Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Cemetery or the Hospice of South Central Indiana in care of the funeral home.
